Consilium recived an order of fire protection for 12 trainsets, each consisting of 8 cars from Sifang. This platform is a further development of Sifangs achievement in this field of high speed trains.

In total we will deliver 9 trainsets this year.

Consilium have recied an order from DSB to replace 2.300 detectors for all IC3 trains. The delivery will be finalized end of 2014.

Consilium have during the last 6 months received fire and gas detection orders for totally 44 product tanker vessels for Scorpio, a Monaco based ship-owner.
The vessels will be built by four shipyards in Korea. Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD), Hyundai Samho HI (HSHI) and SPP shipbuilding.

Consilium have received an order from MOL LNG to refit the fire detection, gas detection and gas sampling systems on LNG Aquarius. Consilium will also make the commissioning on the vessel.

Consilium  have received orders from Droste to deliver fire detection systems to the river cruise vessels Emerald Star & Emerald Sky, delivery will be made in October. Emerald Star and Emerald Sky each carry 182 guests in 20 staterooms and 72 suites.

Consilium have received an order to upgrade the fire & gas detection system for Castoro Sei, including commissioning. Delivery of the materials will take place during October and the commissioning will take place in January 2014.

Consilium have received a complete retrofit turnkey project for a drillship owned by Noble Drilling. The existing conventional fire and gas detection system will be replaced and the installation will be carried out at STX Goseong shipyard. The installation is planned to be ready before the end of this year. Consilium will be in charge of the entire process, including replacement of all fire and gas detectors, installation, commissioning and full test with classification society.

The vessel will be classified for ICE class and is therefore need of a gas detectors will be used that withstand the -40degrC environment demands on drilling area.

The global environmental impact from ship emissions is significant and the International Maritime Organization (IMO) is enforcing new regulations in order to reduce the emissions and ship owners using scrubber must monitor SO2 and CO2 in the scrubber exhaust.

Early this morning the world’s largest container vessel, the Mc-Kinney Møller, arrived to the container terminal in Gothenburg.

The Mc-Kinney Møller was the first of twenty Triple E-vessels to be delivered to Maersk Lines. The vessel is 400 meters long, 59 meters wide, 73 meter high and has the capacity of 18 000 20-fots containers.

Consilium is proud to be the chosen supplier of the fire detection system, Salwico Cargo, to all twenty vessels. The fire detection system on the Mc-Kinney Møller includes 340 loop units.
