The Salwico Fire Detection range consists of both conventional and addressable fire detection systems.

Consilium have delivered Fire Detection Systems since 1967. Since the product start we have installed more than 23 500 systems on all kind of vessels ranging from submarines to large cruise ships.

Consilium Common Platform (CCP)

Consilium have during the last years taken all the knowledge and experience from well known brand names such as Salwico, Nittan and Servoteknikk and created a highly advanced technological common platform, not only for fire detection systems, but also for gas detection systems and voyage data recorders (VDR). This platform will be the technical base for all discussions with our customers in the future not matter if it’s for a installer, a builder or a retrofit program for an owner.

It’s a common misconception that all Fire Detection Systems for cargo ships are just about the same. However, at a deeper assessment, one will find many divergences affecting a number of aspects, from safety of life and property, to the daily operational costs.

Consilium Common Platform, also called CCP, is the base for our seventh generation of fire detection systems were we assuming today’s challenges of high-tech demands which urging us using latest innovative solutions based on the top notch technology.

Salwico Cargo and Salwico Cruise are deriving from this platform and are both fifth generation of analogue addressable fire detection systems, customized to meet the demands for its particular market segment. From the same platform we have created a conventional version of the Salwico Cargo which also makes it the fifth generation of conventional fire detection system in our history.

Our solutions are as always designed and developed in accordance with all statutory requirements and standards. The solutions are also duly certified by all major classification societies and flag states where applicable. Not seldom we even go beyond what’s compulsory in order to satisfy our customers specific needs and requirements.
