Since the first Salwico gas detector was delivered in 1959, Consilium has become one of the leading suppliers on the market and our Salwico systems can be found on all kind of ships, most often in combined set up’s incorporating our fire detection systems as well as gas detection.
Over the years the Salwico range has developed and today’s systems are considered to be top of the line having all the qualities and features that can be expected from the user as well as the installer.
During the last years, Consilium has taken all the knowledge and experience from well-known brand names such as Salwico, Nittan and Servoteknikk and created a highly advanced technological common platform, not only for fire detection systems, but also for gas detection systems and voyage data recorders (VDR). The CCP (Consilium Common Platform) is the base for our 5th generation of analog addressable fire detection systems with the latest innovative solutions based on top notch technology.
